Henryk Wolyinski was a Polish lawyer belonging to the Home Army (A. K.). In 1940, when a department devoted to minorities was established, he took charge of the Jewish section of the A.K.. He helped organize the Zegota (Jewish Aid Committee). Wolynski was a liaison man for JFO representatives and the Poles. Greatly affected by the tragedy of the Jews, he did his best to obtain JFO recognition from the A. K., and to get weapons for the Jews.
